After quite a while now, Nintendo has finally confirmed Nintendo with a 7-inch OLED screen, The upgrade will replace the old 6-inch LCD 720p model. This new Nintendo will go on sale on 8th October 2021 priced at $350.
The new model will now have twice the storage giving you 64GB of storage instead 32GB which was offered before, along with that there’s a built in ethernet port on the new dock which will be able to give you better network connectivity.
Noticing the announcement, they didn’t mention anything about 4K display support, but standard does offer 1080p of output when plugged in via dock to a display TV or a monitor.
This new Nintendo is little on the heavier side as compared to the previous version of the Nintendo at 0.32kg, and the CPU or RAM hasn’t been changed and is same as before. There’s no big change in terms of battery life offering at 4.5 hours to 9 hours.
This new model will surely bring in new excitement amongst Nintendo Switch gamers, and we will soon have more updates for the same.
