Maxx Mobile Launches Its First Android 4.4 Based MSD7 Smarty AXD21 Smartphone
The MSD7 Smarty AXD21 smartphone features a 10.16-cm (4-inch) WVGA display. It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. It sports a 3.2MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front facing camera. It comes with 4GB of internal storage which is flexible via microSD card slot. Connectivity options include: 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Glonass and FM Radio. The dual-SIM device runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It decks in a 1,450 mAh battery.
It must be noted that Maxx Mobile had recently announced its plan to enlarge its portfolio of budget devices with the launch of as many as 9 smartphones and 8 feature phones in the coming days. The devices in question will be priced between Rs 2,000 and Rs 6,000. The company is looking to fetch revenue to the tune of Rs 36,000 million through the move. One of the most striking development here is the price point as the company is planning to introduce an Android-based smartphone at a price tag of Rs 2,000, among others.
