ITVoice: When to use a switch or router ?

Bill Ye:In today’s world you need router in your day to day life, Internet is everything that connects you with world today, and for your gadgets to work at its best you need Internet connected to it most of time, and for Internet to be connected you will need a router to give you wireless or wired access to same. Whereas for switch in networking, it works to transfer the data to more devices through wired system, where a standard Router have 4 in-built switches but a sole switch unit will have more number of LAN ports, thus leading to distribute network to more devices. Considering Router is used by any person who has access to Internet, Switch are preferred by ISP’s, SMB and such firms

ITVoice: Comment on Green Technology with eWaste Solution.

Bill Ye:TP-LINK’s Switches adhere to   Green Technology, our Switch features the latest energy-efficient technologies that can greatly expand your network’s capacity with much less power consumption. It automatically adjusts power consumption according to the link status and cable length to limit the carbon footprint of your network. When a computer or network equipment is off, the corresponding port of a traditional switch will continue to consume considerable amounts of power. Our selected switch can automatically detect the link status of each port and reduce the power consumption of ports that are idle.
