Motorola unveils Edge 50 Fusion: 6.7″ FHD+ 144Hz pOLED, Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, 12GB RAM, IP68

Motorola has fulfilled its promise by introducing the Edge 50 Fusion, the latest addition to the Edge 50 series. This smartphone boasts a 6.7-inch Full HD+ pOLED curved display with an impressive 144Hz refresh rate. For the Europe, Middle East, and Africa markets, it is equipped with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC paired with 12GB of RAM, while the Latin America variant features a 120Hz panel and Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC.

The device is equipped with a powerful camera setup, including a 50MP main camera featuring a Sony Lytia LYT-700C sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS). Additionally, it sports a 13MP ultrawide camera and offers an integrated Macro Vision feature for extreme close-up shots. On the front, there’s a 32MP selfie camera with Quad Pixel technology.

Available in Hot Pink or Marshmallow Blue vegan options, as well as a sleek Forest Blue material, the Edge 50 Fusion combines style with durability. It features IP68 dust and water protection, along with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front. The device is powered by a robust 5000mAh battery with 68W TurboPower fast charging support.

The Edge 50 Fusion’s display is a standout feature, offering a 6.7-inch Full HD+ 10-bit OLED Endless Edge Display with HDR10+ support. The display also boasts a 144Hz refresh rate (or 120Hz in the Latin America variant), along with a 360Hz touch sampling rate and up to 1600 nits peak brightness.

Under the hood, the device is powered by either a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 4nm Mobile Platform or a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 4nm Mobile Platform, depending on the region. It comes with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and storage options of either 256GB or 512GB (UFS 2.2).

Running on Android 14, the Edge 50 Fusion offers a seamless user experience with features like Dual SIM support, USB Type-C audio, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC.

The Edge 50 Fusion is priced at 399 Euros (approximately USD 423 or Rs. 35,460) and will be available in selected markets across Asia, Europe, Latin America, and Oceania in the coming weeks.
