Motorola Razr 40 Ultra with ‘rare’ external display to make India debut ahead of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5

The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra, priced between $801 and $899, is now available in the international market. It comes in three color options: Viva Magenta, Glacier Blue, and Infinite Black. This highly anticipated flip phone is set to make its way to the Indian market alongside the Motorola Razr 40 in the coming weeks. The announcement of its launch in India coincides with the global release of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, adding excitement to the competitive flip phone market.

Motorola has already started teasing the Razr 40 series on Amazon, indicating that the phones will be available for purchase through the online retailer. The success of the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra in the Indian market will depend on its pricing strategy.

In terms of specifications, the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra boasts a 6.79-inch FHD+ pOLED display with a center-aligned punch-hole cutout, a high 165Hz refresh rate, 1,400 nits peak brightness, and HDR10+ support. It also features a secondary 3.6-inch pOLED screen on the back panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, protected by Gorilla Glass 7.

Under the hood, the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, up to 12GB of RAM, and 512GB of onboard storage. It houses a 3,800mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

In terms of cameras, the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra features a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 12MP OIS-enabled main sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide and macro lens. For selfies, there is a 32MP front-facing camera.
