Moto X4 to be exclusively available on Flipkart

Lenovo-owned Motorola recently started sending out media invites for the launch event of Moto X4 smartphone. The company will launch the smartphone on November 13 at an event in New Delhi. Now, leading e-commerce giant Flipkart has announced that the device will be exclusively available on the shopping platform.
Commenting on the exclusive partnership, Ayyappan Rajagopal, senior director – smartphones at Flipkart, said, “Flipkart’s partnership with Motorola is set to achieve new heights with the exclusive launch of the Moto X4. Motorola phones have always ticked the right boxes and greatly appealed to our large and growing customer base with their design and performance. The new exclusive launch will set new benchmarks and expand shoppers’ choice of phones, reinforcing our stronghold in the Indian market by increasing aspirations and setting new expectations for customers who are on the constant look-out for the best offerings within their budget”.
The company launched the Moto X4 at IFA 2017 in Berlin. It is the first smartphone from the company to come with both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa smart assistants. The smartphone sports 5.2-inch full HD display with 1080×1920 pixels resolution. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass on top.
Moto X 4 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor with Adreno 508 GPU. The device offers a 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 2TB by inserting a microSD card.
The USP of the smartphone is its dual rear camera setup. The device includes 12MP dual autofocus pixel sensor + 8MP ultra wide-angle sensor with 120-degree field of view. The 12MP camera comes with f/2.0 aperture, while the 8MP sensor has f/2.2 aperture. The company claims that the smartphone can click images with depth detection and depth effects. It is also capable of recording slow-motion videos, shoot in Panorama, and Manual mode among other modes.
There is also a 16MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and a dedicated LED flash. The selfie camera can shoot images in 4MP low light mode, Face filters, Beautification Mode and Professional mode. The smartphone has the ability to shoot videos in 4K resolution (30 fps).
The Moto X4 packs a 3000mAh battery which also supports 15W TurboPower. The company claims that the smartphone can deliver six hours of power with 15 minutes of charging. In terms of connectivity the Moto X4 comes with Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi, USB Type-C, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack and GPS. It measures 148.35×73.4×7.99mm, weighs 163 grams and is IP68 certificated, which makes it dust and water resistant. The metal-clad device comes in Super Black and Sterling Blue colours.
