Moto Green Pomelo smartphone with Android 7.0 Nougat launched in China

Lenovo-owned Motorola has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of Moto Green Pomelo smartphone in China. The smartphone comes in Rose Gold and Cool Black colour options and is priced at RMB 1,599 (Rs 15,700).
The Moto Green Pomelo comes with a 5.2-inch full HD display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla glass on top. The smartphone looks identical to the recently launched Moto G5S. The rear panel of the device houses the dual rear camera setup and the Moto logo.
The smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor clocked at 1.4GHz. It offers 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be expanded further by adding a microSD card.
In terms of camera capabilities, the smartphone sports a 16MP rear and front camera with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone is backed by a 2800mAh battery and offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.
Last week, Motorola launched the Mid night Blue colour variant of its Moto G5S smartphone in India at Rs 12,999. Besides the new colour, everything else stays the same in the ‘Midnight Blue’ Moto G5S. Billed as successor to the Moto G5, the Moto G5S runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box and sport metal unibody design like the Iron Grey and Blush Gold colour variants.
The Moto G5S sports a 5.2-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. The processor is clubbed with 4GB RAM. It includes 32GB inbuilt storage and can support up to 128GB via a microSD card.
For photography, the Moto G5S offers a 16MP rear camera with PDAF along with a 5MP front-facing camera, coupled with a LED flash. Besides supporting 4G LTE connectivity, the handset is backed by a 3000mAh battery, which also supports TurboPower fast charging feature.
