Moto G5, G5 Plus smartphones now available in retail stores

Earlier this year, Lenovo-owned Motorola launched its Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus smartphones in India. Until now, both smartphones have only been available for purchase online. While the Moto G5 Plus is available on Flipkart at a starting price of Rs 14,999, Moto G5 sells on Amazon at Rs 11,999.
Now, the company has confirmed to Gadgets Now that both smartphones are available in offline retail stores across the country.
For those unaware, Moto G5 Plus comes in two variants. The model having 3GB RAM/16GB storage is priced at Rs 14,999, and the version sporting 4GB RAM/32GB storage has a price tag of Rs 16,999.
Moto G5 Plus packs a 5.2-inch Full HD screen of 1080×1920 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and is also water repellent. The front of the device houses a capacitive Home button which also doubles up as a fingerprint sensor. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and runs Android Nougat 7.0 out-of-the-box.
For imaging duties, Moto G5 Plus is claimed to have the ‘most advanced’ 12MP camera, supported by dual-LED flash and 4K video recording. There’s a 5MP selfie shooter included in the mi as well. The smartphone has a 3,000mAh battery and offers 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth as connectivity options.
On the other hand, Moto G5 comes with 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. Having a 5-inch Full HD display, the dual-SIM smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. It is also one of the cheapest smartphones to run Android 7.0 out-of-the-box. The handset is available in Lunar Grey and Fine Gold colour variants.
In the optics department, Moto G5 sports a 13MP sensor with dual-LED flash. The front camera is a 5MP unit. It is backed by 2,800mAh battery with fast-charging support. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB port.
