Moto G4 Specs Revealed By Benchmark Listing, Launching On May 17

Motorola is expected to launch its Moto G4 or Moto G4 52259022Plus smartphone on May 17 . As the launch date nears, the unannounced smartphone has showed up on Geekbench benchmarking website revealing some key specifications.

The website lists Moto G4 to be running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The handset, as per listing, also houses an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor. Since the processor supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 technology, the smartphone is also expected to feature the same. The listing reveals the device as sporting 3GB of RAM and an Adreno 405 GPU.

In the Geekbench benchmarks, the smartphone is seen with a single-core score of 719 and a multi-core score of 3076. Nothing more is revealed regarding the handset.

A recent listing on eBay showed the Moto G4 smarpthone’s alleged front panel assembly. Based on the writing seen at the back of the connector, the handset is expected to feature a 5.5-inch Full HD display along with a physical home button that can also double up as a fingerprint sensor.

The company is also likely to make the G4 an Amazon exclusive . Motorola’s Twitter handle earlier this week replied to one user’s comments by tweeting – “Hahaha! We shall make you wait no more, @JimBeamIndia. On @amazonIn, this 17th. #amazonexclusive.”

Lately, various features of the fourth generation Moto G handset(s) have been hinted at through several teaser images. The images suggest the smartphone(s) will come with a better processor, better battery, faster camera focus and more.
