Just a couple of hours of replenishing stocks, Flipkart is once again out of Moto E stocks. The exclusive Motorola retailer in India started selling the budget smartphone around 1pm, but put up a banner saying “Out of stock, but coming soon” on its website around 3.30pm.

Those who were able to order Moto E today would get their order by June 3, according to Flipkart.

Moto E running out of stock has become a weekly feature on Flipkart.

On May 13, the launch day, the smartphone was out of stock in less than a day, with the website showing ‘404 error’ to many prospective people who tried ordering the handset. At that time, Flipkart offered free e-books, and discounts on microSD card and original back covers. There was no such offer by Flipkart this time around.

Motorola replenished Moto E stocks on May 23 after that, but once again the device went out of stock in less than a day.
The cheapest smartphone in Motorola’s portfolio, Moto E sports a 4.3-inch display with 960x540p resolution, making it the only smartphone offering a high quality display at this price point. The dual-sim phone runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS, and Motorola has promised that it will upgrade the smartphone to the next major version of Android.

Moto E packs a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor, with 1GB RAM and 4GB internal storage. Unlike Moto X and G, this phone supports microSD cards for storage expansion. The budget offering of Motorola sports a 5MP camera on the back, but does not have rear LED flash and front camera. It can access the internet over 2G, 3G and Wi-Fi networks, while data can be transferred via microUSB 2.0 and Bluetooth 4.0.

The smartphone has a decent 1,980mAh battery and Motorola claims it can last a whole day once fully charged. Motorola has used a nano-coating that will make the smartphone resistant to splashes, so that it does not get damaged in rain. Motorola is also offering swappable back covers and grip shells with the phone.
