Moto E (2nd Gen) Set To Make Its Debut In India On 10 March

Motorola is all set to launch its much-awaited Moto E (2nd generation) smartphone in India on March 10. The company has kept the price of the new Moto E for the Indian market same as the previous generation model.

The new Moto E, which was globally announced late last month, will carry a price tag of Rs 6,999 for the 3G variant and will be exclusively available on Flipkart.

The new Moto E comes with an 11.43-cm (4.5-inch) qHD display with Gorilla Glass 3 and runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. The smartphone runs on 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor (Snapdragon 200 in 3G version) and is juiced up by a 2390 mAh battery. The company has fitted a 5MP auto-focus rear shooter and a secondary front camera. On the storage front, it has 8GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot. In addition, Motorola has allowed additional customisation to the customers by offering six colourful bands, that will replace the existing Black or White bands. Moreover, the customers will also get five colourful Motorola Grip Shells for the new Moto E.

Motorola will release the Moto E (2nd Gen) in over 50 markets across the globe including Latin America, North America, Europe and Asia over the coming months. The sale of the device begins today in select markets for $119.99 (3G version) and $149.99 (4G version).
