While celebrating Women’s day at Maya Digital Studios, Aruna Kumar, head of MIST said,“The Indian animation industry is on a growth trajectory given not just the talent pool and lower costs but also the treasure trove of Indian mythology and folklore that can be retold through a new age medium. It is growing into a multi-billion dollar industry generating a great scope of employment for those who are creative and skillful. A lot of young girls are finding a liking towards animation and choosing it as their preferred career option. We are witnessing almost an equal gender mix in our animation studio and MIST”.
