Microsoft Is All Set To Release Worldwide Wi-Fi Service

If reports are to be believed, Microsoft is all set to release microsoft_logoa worldwide Wi-Fi service which will apparently be giving subscribers access to millions of hotspots. News is doing the rounds that the network might comprise 10 million hotspots across 130 countries.

A Microsoft spokesperson has confirmed that the firm is on its way to launch Microsoft Wi-Fi which aims at bringing hassle-free Wi-Fi to millions.

A user will not have to waste time filling forms with personal details or manage different carriers to get connected. “Sign in once and you are done,” reads the web post.

The service is similar to Microsoft’s existing service Skype Wi-Fi, which has a network of more than 2 million hotspots. However, the latest version would occupy a larger network of participating Wi-Fi providers.

According to a report published in VentureBeat, the service would be accessible to existing Office 365 enterprise consumers and Microsoft’s Work and Play Bundle subscribers, which costs US$ 149 annually.
