Microsoft introduces Lumia 830, Lumia 730 & Lumia 930 In India!

Taking the festivities in the smartphones’ market a step ahead, Microsoft Devices launched its much awaited Lumia 930, along with Lumia 730 and Lumia 830 in India. The company has clarified that the mid-priced segment is its prime focus.

download (2)The latest Lumia smartphones run Windows Phone 8.1 operating system. While the Lumia 830 and Lumia 730 will be available from 8 October and 6 October respectively, the Lumia 930 will start selling from 15 October. The company also announced the Lumia Denim update, that brings some additional features to the existing range of Lumia devices.

Commenting on the launch, Ajey Mehta, managing director,Nokia India Sales Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Microsoft Mobiles Oy, said, “Our strategy is to help people do more with stunning products that unite and showcase the best of Microsoft’s digital work and life experiences. We recognized the potential of the affordable smartphone segment and brought some extremely successful products to the market including the Lumia 520, 525 and the more recent Lumia 630 and Lumia 530. Building on our momentum in this space, today we introduce three new devices, Lumia 930, 830 and Lumia 730, which we believe will help us consolidate our position in themid pricedsmartphone market in India.”

Lumia 830: This new Lumia flagship smartphone is available at an affordable price. Packed with the PureView imaging and integrated Microsoft services, Lumia 830 is available at a price of Rs 28,799. It is capable of capturing high-quality images and videos, day or night, with a 10-megapixel PureView camera with ZEISS optics, the new living images innovation, rich recording and the thinnest Optical Image Stabilization system to date on a Lumia at 8.5 mm thin and 150 gm. It comes with pre-loaded Microsoft Office Mobile, the latest version of Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim, and OneDrive with 15 GB of free storage, allowing content to be synced and shared easily. Lumia 830 in a range of colours including bright orange, white and black.

 Lumia 730 Dual SIM: Built for Skype and selfies, the Lumia 730 comes with a wide-angle, front-facing camera. It packs a front-facing, wide-angle, 5-megapixel camera, that looks good for Skype video calls. The Lumia 730 brings Dual SIM 3G support and runs on Windows Phone 8.1. Lumia 730 will be available at a best buy price of Rs 15,299 in green, orange, white and dark grey.

Lumia 930: The Nokia Lumia 930 comes with a 20MP PureView camera with ZEISS optics and advanced Rich Recording, ensuring a good video and imaging experience with Living Images and optical image stabilisation. The smartphone packs a 2.2GHz Snapdragon quad-core processor delivers more from content like apps, games, the internet and integrated Microsoft services like OneDrive and Microsoft Office. The smartphone has an aluminium frame, metallic accents, and a polycarbonate back with vibrant colour choices of bright orange, black and white. Lumia 930 will be available at a best buy price of Rs 38,649/-.

All three devices will come with an additional one terabyte of cloud storage on OneDrive, free for the first 6 months and chargeable thereafter at a minimal Rs 125 per month.
