Microsoft Has Launched Universal Foldable Keyboard

Microsoft has launched a worldwide foldable keyboard that could be microsoft-universal-foldable-keyboardpaired with many of the mobile device models. This device targets those customers who travel frequently or who use a tablet computer extensively for work or just love to operate the smartphone on the go.

While working with the foldable keyboard, you can simultaneously switch between two mobile devices. The keyboard hardly takes any time to connect. All you need to do is to set up in seconds, open and turn it on, that’s all you are doing.

The Bluetooth-enabled keyboard works with all Android devices, Windows Phones and tablets as well as iOS powered iPhones and iPads. It’s the design that has been rethought while launching a portable keyboard. Microsoft researchers have brought an ultra-thin and super compact design to the tablet with the new foldable keyboard.

The keyboard is incredibly thin at 11.5 mm thickness when folded (and just 5mm thin when opened) and lightweight too. The built-in rechargeable battery is said to last about three months in use on a single charge.

With Bluetooth connectivity to communicate with different devices, this foldable keyboard is neatly embedded with magnets inside the body of the hardware to keep it closed while you’re carrying it in your bag or something else. The keyboard is designed to be spill-resistant.

Microsoft keyboard is priced at $99.95 (approx. Rs. 6,200) and would be available for buying by July 2015 at Microsoft Store and various other retailers.
