The phone will be available sans internet connectivity option!

downloadA feature phone from Nokia is set to hit the markets very soon. Microsoft has announced that this phone will be an reasonable one, called Nokia 130, priced at around Rs 1,500.

The phone will have some basic features including 16 hours of video playback or music playback of up to 46 hours and that too on a single charge. Both single and dual-sim facilities will be available on this phone. This feature phone’s basic provision include a 4.57-cm colour display with QQVGA (128×160 pixels) resolution, Series 30 OS, a microSD card slot, a built-in video player, MP3, FM Radio and flashlight on the back. The phone will be released in red, black and white colours.

Earlier it was reported that Microsoft has been preparation to sell out feature phones and Android X phones from Nokia store as soon as possible. Then Microsoft shifted their focus to Windows platform for Nokia smartphones. With the announcement of Nokia 130 now it seems that Microsoft is finally releasing those products which have been waiting in the queue for a long time. But announcement of any such product afresh, would be a huge surprise as the company is already trying to wrap up this old business.

Microsoft’s VP of phone division, Jo Harlow, said in an interview, that thcompany is still committed to its basic phone business which gives them the highest business ahead of any other project. As connectivity to Internet is not allowed in these kind of feature phones, just like Nokia X and Asha series, all these products have been shelved off by Microsoft. So it’s pretty sure that Microsoft will be only working on Windows phones to stay in the competition with Google’s Android One series smartphones. First-time mobile phone users will find this Nokia 130 very helpful for sure.
