Big batteries are needed these days as smartphones barely manage 
to last a day. So, smartphone manufacturers have started to listen to their users. Keeping in the trend of big batteries, Indian smartphone maker Micromax has launched the Canvas Juice 2 in India for Rs.8,999.
The successor to the company’s Canvas Juice, the phone is being targeted to the consumers, who want long battery life in their smartphones, with the included 3000 mAh battery.
The phone has a 12.7-cm (5-inch) HD IPS display protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3. It has a 1.3 GHz quad core processor. It also comes with 2GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and Wolfson Stereo DAC speakers.
The phone has an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and 2 MP front camera. The phone is dual-sim (GSM + GSM) and under connectivity it offers 3G, GPRS, GPS, Bluetooth and FM Radio. It does not offer the NFC facility in connectivity. The battery of the device is 3000 mAh and is expected to offer 9 hours of talktime and 435 hours of standby time. Among all the specs, the most that will work in its favour is that it comes with pre-installed Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.
