Micromax Canvas Beat Now Listed Online @Rs 9,499

Saturday, June 21, 2014: Home grown manufacturer Micromax is all set to introduce a new affordable device in its Canvas range of smartphones. The Micromax Canvas Beat smartphone is now available for grabs via e-commerce website HomeShop18 at a price tag of Rs 9,499.
The Microamx Canvas Beat smartphone features a 12.7-cm (5-inch) qHD IPS display with a 540×960 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Broadcom BCM23550 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 4GB inbuilt storage expandable up to 32GB supported via microSD card. It sports an 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash, and a 2MP front-facing camera. The dual-SIM device runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. It decks in a 1900mAh battery.

Earlier, Micromax listed two new Android-based budget smartphones on its official website. The Canvas Entice and Unite are the two new smartphones listed on the company website, however, there is no news yet regarding the pricing and availability of the device. The Micromax Canvas Entice features a 12.7-cm (5-inch) IPS display with a 480×800 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Broadcom BCM23550 processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. It sports a 5MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash, and a 0.3MP front-facing camera. The dual-SIM device runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. Connectivity options include: 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth. It decks in a 1900mAh battery which can deliver up to 150 hours of standby and up to 5 hours of talk time, according to Micromax.

Meanwhile, the Micromax Unite features a 10.16-cm (4-inch) WVGA IPS display with a 480×800 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 (MSM8212) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP front-facing camera. The dual-SIM device runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. It comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. Connectivity options include: GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS and Micro-USB. It decks in a 1500mAh battery which can deliver up to 5.5 hours of talk time and up to 140 hours of standby, claims the company.
