Micromax Announces Canvas Tab P701 4G Android Tablet @ Rs 7,250

Micromax today launched its latest 4G tablet-Canvas Tab P701 at a price of Rs 7,250 in an exclusive partnership with Flipkart.

Sporting a 7-inch IPS display, the tablet runs Android Lollipop 5.1 operating system and is backed by a 3,500mAh battery. Micromax claims 15 hours of talk time (handset mode) and 4.5 hours of browsing time. It is powered by a 1GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM along with a 5MP A/F rear camera and 2MP F/F front camera. There is optimised data usage on 4G as the tablet comes pre-loaded with Opera Max which will help users consume less data to browse the same content. The new tablet comes with seven e-books free on Kindle .

On storage front, there is 8GB of onboard storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The tablet supports both TDD & FDD 4G bands.

The company recently launched its new Canvas Evoke smartphone series in India. The first smartphone to launch under the series is Canvas Evoke. Priced at Rs 8,499, the smartphone is also available exclusively on Flipkart.

In terms of specifications, Micromax Canvas Evoke runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It features a 5.5-inch HD resolution display and packs an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 processor with 3GB LPDDR3 RAM and Adreno 405 GPU, 16GB inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via microSD card. It also supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS and micro-USB connectivity. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery. It comes with a 13MP autofocus rear camera along with a 5MP-fixed focus front-facing camera.
