Aegis Graham Bell Awards are presented to recognize and honor innovation in the field of Time (Telecom, Internet, Media & Edutainment) and to provide recognition for outstanding contributions.

Mahindra Comviva’s Optimizer 360 and mCare app enables MNOS improve quality of service offered to customers. There is a strong correlation between the quality of customer experience and the net lifetime value of the customer. It is getting more and more difficult for MNOs to carve out significant points of differentiation from their competitors. Super customer experience is a critical differentiator and is extremely difficult to replicate and would generate repeat usage, loyalty and improves lifetime value.

MNOS are experiencing an exponential growth in data traffic which is straining networks and impeding quality of service. Mahindra Comviva’s Optimizer 360, an intelligent media optimization solution enables MNOs to target network congestion relief at different parts of the network during different times of the day, based on real-time invocation of business rules and policies. Unlike conventional techniques, intelligent media optimization selectively applies performance-improvement techniques, based on a combination of variables including – network, location, traffic, application, device and ARPU profile. For instance, MNOs may compress video content for prepaid customers falling within a select ARPU-band in a congested cell. MNOs can likewise deploy Optimizer 360 to improve revenues. Some customers may be willing to pay more for a guaranteed experience; for live streaming, for example, the MNO can build an offer around his user segment.

Mahindra Comviva’s mCare facilitates the shift from a pure transactional-relationship to one focused on engaging customers by offering better service, and driving increased interactions with the brand. mCare enables MNOs to improve engagement across multiple points in the customers’ journey from services discovery, purchase to post-sales support. For example the mCare app can present billing information, show customers when they are approaching their call limit or data threshold, deliver tailored plans based on consumption patterns and give them simple and secure options to act upon that information.
