Logitech launches K840 mechanical keyboard at Rs 6,495

Logitech has launched its K840 mechanical corded keyboard in India. Featuring Romer-G mechanical switches and an anodized aluminium body with a textured finish, the keyboard is priced at Rs 6,495 and is available starting today.
The company has claimed that Romer-G offers tactile feedback for every keystroke. It further said that each key has been expertly engineered to last for more than 70 million keystrokes, promising long-lasting life.
Logitech K840 comes with a 26-key rollover feature that, according to the company, helps in ensuring that each keystroke is registered accurately.
There are also other advanced features like Windows Lock function that prevents inadvertent press of the Windows key, and easy access to media and shortcut keys that enable users to control entertainment.
Furthermore, users can reprogram and customize F1-F4 keys to create keyboard shortcuts of their own using Logitech Options software.
The full-sized K840 includes a 1.8m cable with built-in strain relief for reinforced durability and tilt legs.
Speaking of the launch, Ashok Jangra, Logitech cluster category manager for India & South West Asia said, “The K840 Mechanical keyboard combines the best of technology and design. The keyboard provides enhanced productivity features in a full-sized keyboard with our exclusive Romer-G mechanical switches. Mechanical keyboards aren’t just for gamers, Logitech’s exclusive Romer-G mechanical switches offer tactile feedback and near-instant responsiveness, allowing you to type with less force and help minimize fatigue over long typing sessions.”
Last year, Logitech launched its K375s multi-device wireless keyboard in India at a price of Rs 1,995. The K375s enables users to easily switch between devices with the push of a button. The keyboard is compatible with Windows, Android and iOS devices. It comes with two years of battery life and claims to offer a wireless range of 33 feet.
