LG is all set to launch its flagship smartphone under the V series today in India. The company has scheduled an event in Delhi at 11.20 am, where it will launch the LG V30 Plus smartphone. The South Korean tech giant launched the same smartphone in Korea in September this year. The company will be live streaming the event on its official website. Talking about the specification, the LG V30+ runs Android 7.1.2 operating system and sports a 6-inch QHD+ display with 1440×2880 pixel resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The display is made scratch resistant with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 825 processor with Adreno 540 GPU.
The smartphone comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage which can be expanded further by adding a microSD card. The device comes with hybrid dual SIM functionality and features 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC powered by ESS Technology’s SABRE ES9218P. The device also comes with digital features sound presets and sound tuning powered by B&O PLAY. The device also comes equipped with IP68 rating which makes the device dust and water resistant. The company also claims that the smartphone has passed MIL-STD 810G Transit Drop Test, which makes its compliant for military operations.
The device also boasts of dual rear camera setup same as the LG G6. It features a 16MP primary camera with 71-degree wide-angle lens, f/1.6-aperture and dual-tone LED flash. Along with this, there’s also a 13MP secondary camera comes with f/1.9 aperture and 120-degree wide-angle lens. There’s also a 5MP front shooter with f/2.2 aperture for selfies.
The smartphone measures 151.7 x 75.4 x 7.3mm and it comes equipped with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. The device packs a 3300mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and it also supports wireless charging. In terms connectivity, the device offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and USB Type C.
