LG G7 smartphone expected to sport iPhone X-like design

Apple launched the iPhone X last year and came up with some design innovations such as vertical rear camera, screen notch and others. Now, other smartphone makers are taking cue from its design and are working on integrating some of its design elements into their upcoming smartphones.

After OnePlus and Huawei, its LG. The South Korean smartphone maker is working on its next generation flagship smartphone LG G7. A new leak about the smartphone has surfaced online.The leak consists of an image which shows iPhone X like notch. The image shows the 6-inch display of the yet to be launched smartphone and a vertical dual rear camera.
According to a report by YnetNews, the images were captured at MWC 2018 from LG’s booth. It is also said that the company will officially launch the smartphone in June this year. The LG G7 is expected to come with a 6-inch OLED display with 1440×3120 pixels resolution. The display is said to offer 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The notch on the display is said to house an 8MP front shooter for selfies.

The rumours suggest that the LG G7 will come with a dual rear camera setup with two 16MP modules. The rear will also house a circular fingerprint sensor placed below the camera.

The device is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor paired with 4GB/ 6GB RAM and 64GB/ 128GB inbuilt storage. It is said to be backed by a 3000mAh battery and claims to include support for Google Assistant and other AI features .

Recently, LG launched its K8 (2018) and K10 (2018) smartphones at MWC 2018, in Barcelona, Spain. The two smartphones are said to include features that pitch them the β€˜rivals’ to some of the flagships. The K8 (2018) and K10 (2018) will be reaching Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.
