Lenovo Z2 Plus gets a price cut in India

Chinese smartphone maker Lenovo has slashed the price of its Z2 Plus smartphone in India. The company launched two variants of the smartphone in the country back in September last year. The 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage variant which was launched at Rs 17,999 is now available at Rs 14,999. On the other hand, the 4GB RAM version has received a price cut of Rs 2,500 and is now available at Rs 17,499.
The smartphone is exclusively available on Amazon India’s website in Balck and White colour options.
Lenovo Z2 Plus sports a 5-inch Full HD display of 1080×1920 pixel resolution. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at 2.15GHz.
The company claims that the device’s 3,500mAh battery comes with Intelligent Charge Cut-off technology, which automatically stops charging once the handset is completely charged. The dual-SIM smartphone has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front shooter. There’s also a fingerprint sensor on the front panel which is claimed to perform seven different tasks other than unlocking the device.
Connectivity options in Z2 Plus include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB Type-C. The Z2 Plus also includes a feature called U-Health which can track users’ steps, sleep and calories. As for freebies with the smartphone, Lenovo is offering a flip cover, Skullcandy headphones and a Stealth case with the device.

The 3GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 16,999, while the 4GB RAM version comes with a price tag of Rs 17,999. The smartphone is exclusively available on Flipkart.
The P2 features a 5.5-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out-of-the-box. It is powered by a 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 MSM8953 processor paired with a 3GB/4GB RAM. It offers a 64GB internal storage which can be expanded further by installing a microSD card.
It sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies. On the connectivity front, it offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
