Lenovo Vibe Shot To Launch In India On September 22

Lenovo is all set to launch its new smartphone dubbed the Vibe Shot which the company claims to be camera-centric.

To recall, the smartphone was first unveiled during the Lenovo VibeWorld Mobile Congress this year and is now all set to make its debut in the Indian smartphone market on Tuesday, Sept 22.

Speaking about the pricing details of the Vibe Shot, it is worth noting that the smartphone was globally launched with a price tag of Rs $349 which comes up to Rs 23,000 approximartely. Thus, we may expect a similar pricing strategy in India too. However, the exact amount is still to be announced by the company.

Sporting a 5 inch full HD IPS displayIPS display that is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass, the smartphone’s look and design at the rear is similar to that of a compact camera. Also, the smartphone comes with a physical shutter button to enhance this feel.

Speaking about the camera section of the camera-centric smartphone, the Lenovo Vibe Shot comes with a 16 MP rear camera with BSI Sensor, Optical Image Stabilisation and Tricolour flash. Also, the rear camera is capable of recording videos at 1080p.

Along with this, the rear camera also comes with an infrared focus sensor which the company claims to be twice as fast as the normal autofocus.

Speaking about the front camera, the 8 MP front facing Sensor allows its users to capture pretty decent selfies.

Coming over to other technical specifications of the Vibe Shot, it comes with a 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor coupled with a 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB internal storage, 2,900 mAh battery, 4G LTE support, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1 and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Lenovo’s Vibe UI running on top of it.

While everything seems to be simply perfect, the only drawback we come across as of now is that the Vibe Shot does not come with a memory card slot which means users have to be satisfied with the built-in 32 GB that comes with the smartphone.
