LeEco And Coolpad Launch Cool1 Dual Smartphone With 13MP camera, 4,060mAh Battery

Recently, it was reported that both LeEco and Coolpad are working together on a new smartphone. And now, both LeECocompanies have announced the result of their joint effort – Cool 1 dual. The handset comes in Gold, Silver and Rose Gold colour options and will be up for pre-order online on Coolpad ‘s website, LeMall.com and Jd.com starting August 24.

Talking about specifications, Cool1dual flaunts a 5.5-inch Full HD display of 1080×1920 pixel resolution. Under the hood, it’s powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM. The smartphone offers 32GB/64GB of internal storage, but it’s non-expandable.

Cool 1dual runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system topped with LeEco’s EUI layer. Having dual-sim functionality, the phone has dual 13MP rear camera setup with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF and 4K video recording capability. It also has an 8MP wide-angle front camera for better selfies.

On the connectivity front, Cool 1dual offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB Type-C. The phone has a 4,060mAh battery with fast charging support.

Last week, Coolpad launched its first selfie-focused smartphone – Mega 2.5D , in India. Priced at Rs 6,999, the smartphone will be available on Amazon starting August 24. It will be sold via the flash-sale model, the registrations for which have begun on August 10.

Coolpad Mega sports 8MP rear and front cameras. While the rear camera comes with a Sony sensor and auto-focus, the front camera has f/2.2 aperture and 83-degree field of view.

The phone has a 5.5-inch IPS display with 2.5D curved glass design. It is powered by a 1GHz quad-core processor paired with 3GB RAM. Coolpad Mega has 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD cards.

The 4G-enabled Coolpad Mega has dual-sim support and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, with Cool UI 8.0 layer running on top.
