Leaked Specifications of Upcoming OnePlus Ace Smartphone Suggest it Might be a Rebranded OnePlus 12R

OnePlus is set to release a new device in its Ace series, and it’s expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, similar to the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro. This upcoming device, speculated to be the OnePlus Ace 3, appears to share specifications with the rumored OnePlus 12R, suggesting it might be a rebranded version tailored for the Chinese market.

According to insider DCS, the OnePlus Ace 3 will sport a 6.74-inch punch-hole OLED display with curved edges, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 1.5K resolution, featuring high-frequency PMM dimming support.

Beneath the surface, the device is likely to house the 3.2GHz Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, coupled with options for either 16GB or 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB or 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Given current trends in the Chinese Android smartphone market, a configuration of 24GB RAM and 1TB storage is a possibility.

The camera setup is expected to include a 50-megapixel primary camera with a Sony IMX890 sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens using the OmniVision OV8D10 sensor, and a 32-megapixel telephoto camera with the IMX709 sensor, possibly supporting up to 2x optical zoom. Additionally, the OnePlus Ace 3 may be equipped with a substantial 5,500mAh battery and support 100W fast charging.
