LeadSquared, a Bengaluru-based leader of end-to-end sales, marketing, and onboarding automation solutions, is ramping up focus in Indonesia with several initiatives to help the region’s customer base. The company hired its first Indonesian executives out of Jakarta and Bandung in the middle of 2021 and has begun work on setting up its local data center through Amazon Web Services.
While the LeadSquared software platform has been available in the Bahasa Indonesia language for over a year, customers will soon be able to host all their data within the country, compliant to any changing government regulations on data residency and privacy. The company has also launched its corporate website in Bahasa Indonesia, allowing web visitors to learn about its products and services in the local native language, and from there, connect with the local team directly.
Some of LeadSquared’s marquee customers include CoLearn, 99.co, Pintar, and PT Equine Global, and the company has also signed up three reseller partners across the country. The news comes on the heels of the opening of a Melbourne office and an investment of USD $153 million in its series C round of funding, pushing LeadSquared’s valuation past USD $1 billion. With its headquarters in Bengaluru, India, LeadSquared has a strong local presence in the United States, Australia, the Philippines, South Africa, and Indonesia.
Nilesh Patel, Founder and CEO of LeadSquared, said, “As the next step in our global expansion efforts, the new data-center, backed by a strong regional team, will play a key role in delivering personalised, effective, and scalable solutions for the Indonesian market. By developing a keen and nuanced understanding of our customers in the region, we look forward to enhancing high-velocity sales efficiency through our range of automation suites and platforms for end-to-end marketing and sales processes in the sector.”
Raghvendra Tripathi, Senior Vice President of the APAC business said, “Indonesia has been one of our fastest growing markets outside of India, right from when we had our first customer there two years ago. We are excited as we double down our focus and strengthen the team to continue delivering best-in-class digital transformation tools and services for our customers.”
Indonesian startup CoLearn, one of LeadSquared’s customers, was able to digitise and automate several parts of its business processes with the help of its digital transformation and business optimisation solutions. Following the recent announcement, the CoLearn team will also be participating with LeadSquared in the upcoming GESS Asia event.
Welcoming the news, LeadSquared’s partner and CEO of PT Solusindo Total Teknikatama, Muljo Witono said, “We are very pleased to see LeadSquared’s investments and progress here in Indonesia. Solusindo always seeks to provide the best of breed services and technology for our customers and when our international partners take up localisation efforts like how LeadSquared has done, our customers benefit greatly. We look forward to taking our partnership to the next level.”
