LeadSquared establishes Oceania Headquarters in Melbourne, Australia

LeadSquared, a Bengaluru-based leader of end-to-end sales, marketing, and onboarding automation solutions, is pleased to announce the opening of a new office in Melbourne, Australia. “We are thrilled to share the news of expansion into Australia and New Zealand with great support from the Victorian government. As we expand internationally, Melbourne’s innovation culture, technology infrastructure, and talent will play a key role in supporting our efforts, not just from a market expansion perspective in the Oceania and APAC region, but also in leading our go-to-market training efforts globally,” shared Nilesh Patel, Founder and CEO of  LeadSquared.

Founded by Nilesh Patel, Prashant Singh, and Sudhakar Gorti in 2011, LeadSquared was born out of a need to help modern buyers who seek personalised engagement, effective self-service, and quick time-to-value. The Leadsquared platform is a purpose-built sales and marketing automation suite that enables connected experiences across digital properties, back-office systems, company staff, and customers. Through its various modules of Sales Execution, Marketing Automation, Field Force Automation, and Customer Portals, the LeadSquared platform makes efficiency the focus of every customer interaction, turning prospects into advocates.

LeadSquared launches into Oceania with this office opening, making Melbourne the headquarters for Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Island Nations. The company has hired senior management in Melbourne and Sydney with plans to continue building out the team from the Melbourne office.  The data centre being deployed through Amazon Web Services in Sydney will cater to all data privacy needs for the region. Supported by initiatives from the Victorian government, Australia is set to become a Global Hub for all go-to-market training needs for the company. This office launch news comes on the heels of a momentous year for the company, including that it raised US$153 million in its series C round, pushing its valuation past US$1 billion.  “Our foray into Oceania through Australia is a beginning of great happenings for our clients in the region, and as we partner with the community, we also hope to take our learnings to other teams and customers globally,” stated Roheet Tauro, VP & Regional Head Oceania, LeadSquared.

LeadSquared recently achieved a valuation of over one billion USD, winning it the prestigious distinction of being India’s newest Unicorn. Leveraging its expedited growth and success in the global market, it is continuing the expansion spree in both India and other markets, especially North America. The company has also set an approximate target of hiring 800 new employees in the months to come in a variety of domains, including product engineering, delivery & support, sales & marketing, and finance, and plans to double its employee headcount within the next year and a half.
