Lava has launched Iris X1 at Rs 7,999!

Another handset from the India-based mobile maker is also coming up with 8GB storage, that too at the same price.

A microSD card slot is also available with this phone which helps expand the memory up to 32GB. This upgraded Lava Iris X1 features a 11.43-cm (4.5-inch) capacitive touchscreen IPS display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, a 1.2 GHz quad-core Broadcom BCM23550 processor with Videocore IV GPU, 1GB RAM, 8MP rear camera with BSI+sensor and dual LED flah and 2MP front-facing camera. This device runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS.

The latest upgraded version comes with 8GB internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB through microSD card. Connectivity features in this device are 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS and Dual SIM (Normal SIM + micro SIM) facility. Reports say that Lava Iris X1 contributes 30 per cent of sales in the new smartphone series.
