Launch of Samsung Galaxy Fit 2 Fitness Tracker

Samsung Galaxy Fit 2 fitness tracker has been introduced in India. It was unveiled earlier this October at Life Unstoppable virtual event. The fitness tracker boasts of an AMOLED display, battery life of up to 15 days on a single charge, and a variety of workout modes. Keeping the continuing coronavirus-induced pandemic in mind, the tracker arrives with a Hand Wash feature that intermittently reminds users to wash their hands. It also comes with 5ATM water resistance and it is delivered in 2 color options.

In India, it is priced at approx. INR 4k. It is offered in 2 distinct colors. It can be purchased through Amazon,, and select offline retail stores from 16th October.

It sports an AMOLED display of 1.1 inches that provides a brightness of 450nits for enhanced visibility. It arrives with a front touch button that enables smooth navigation and simple functions like wake-up, return to home, and cancel options. Users can customize their trackers with over seventy downloadable watch faces and they can also set up twelve devoted widgets at a time.

The fitness tracker helps in tracking 5 automatic workouts and nearly ninety more workouts with pre-sets from the Samsung Health application. It arrives with Sleep Score analysis that checks the user’s sleep pattern via 4 stages which are Awake, REM, Light, and Deep. The fitness tracker also features Stress Tracking that assists in keeping a check on the user’s stress levels and it suggests a breathing guide when the user has high-stress levels. It also provides rapid access to the user’s smartphone’s music player.

It arrives with 5ATM water resistance and a Water Lock mode that appears in handy while taking swimming sessions or doing or performing any water-based activities. It houses a battery life of 159mAh that can provide up to 15 days of unvarying operation on a single charge. With minimal day-only usage, the capacity can be amplified up to twenty-one days. Also, the tracker weighs around 21 grams.
