Karbonn Mobiles has added another budget smartphone to its India portfolio. The company has launched the Karbonn Smart A5i, priced at Rs 3,699, in the Indian market. The device is available with online retailer, Flipkart. Karbonn had recently also launched the Karbonn Titanium S7 smartphone, which is a 12.7-cm (5-inch) Full HD smartphone, in the Indian market.
Being priced in the budget segment, the device’s specifications also lie on the same lines. The Karbonn Smart A5i has a 8.9-cm (3.5-inch) capacitive touch screen display, which offers a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. It is powered by a 1 GHz single core processor and has 512 MB of RAM along with the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. In addition, it has a 3 mega pixel rear camera along with a front camera as well. The device also has 512 MB of internal storage, which can be taken up till 32 GB using a micro-SD card.
The Karbonn Smart A5i is a dual SIM smartphone with (GSM+GSM) capabilities and WiFi support. The device also supports 3G, GPRS, EDGE, WAP and USB connections.
