Reliance Jio, one of India’s largest telecommunications companies, has launched a virtual reality (VR) headset called JioDive that allows viewers to enjoy the IPL cricket matches from the comfort of their own homes. The Jio platform, which already provides various features for IPL 2023, including bird’s eye, stump cam, and cable cam views, has introduced the JioDive headset to offer users an even more immersive experience.

JioDive VR Features

The JioDive VR headset comes in black and is designed to work in tandem with Android smartphones or iPhones with a screen size of up to 6.7 inches. To watch IPL matches in VR, users will need to download and install the JioImmerse app, which is available on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The headset is intended to offer an experience that is similar to watching matches in a stadium, providing users with a more engaging and immersive experience.

The gyroscope and accelerometer of the attached smartphone will be used by the VR headset to provide an immersive 360-degree viewing experience. IPL matches can be viewed from a variety of perspectives, including the previously mentioned bird’s eye, stump cam, and cable cam views. The IPL viewing experience for customers will improve as a result.

JioDive VR Pricing

The JioDive VR headset is available for purchase online from JioMart, the company’s online store for a variety of products, and comes with an offer from Paytm Wallet and other partners that entitles customers to a Rs 500 rebate.

The headgear appears like a highly accessible device for people to enjoy the second half of IPL 2023 in a more engaging way at this pricing. In several areas of the nation, Jio has already started offering 5G. Customers can view the IPL 2023 in HD on various devices by utilising 5G networks.
