iPhone 6s Delete Safari History: How To Clear History, Cookies & Google Search

If you’re an iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus user, you’re probably one of the 30-percent of mobile Internet users who use mobile Safari. And if you regularly use mobile Safari on your iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus, it’s a good idea to periodically delete your iPhone 6s browser history and Google search history in Safari.

Thankfully, Apple has made it relatively easy to delete your iPhone 6s browser history and Google search history in Safari.

Note: Apple has made it very easy to open mobile Safari on the iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus in Incognito Mode, or private browsing mode. In Incognito Mode, no websites from your browsing session are saved in your Safari history nor are your Google searches.

To open up Incognito Mode, either 3D Touch click Safari open on your home screen, or if you don’t have an iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus, open up Safari and then click on the tabs button located on the far right of the screen. You’ll notice a small button on left side of the screen labeled private: Click this to enable Incognito Mode.

However, if you’re just looking to delete your Pre- existing iPhone 6s browser history and Google search history in Safari, what you’ll first want to do is open up Safari. Then, tap the Bookmarks button, which is the button that looks like a book in the Safari menu bar. Navigate back toward the main menu by hitting the button in the top left. The button will be named whatever folder you are currently in.

Once you’ve reached the main Bookmark menu, you’ll notice that there’s a history menu option. It should have a clock icon and be the second option down. When you click on this, a button titled clear should pop up in the bottom right of the screen. Hit this to delete your iPhone 6s browser history.

This should also delete your Google search history from Safari at the same time.

Alternatively, to delete your delete your iPhone 6s browser history in Safari, you could go to Settings – Safari – Clear History and Website Data. This should also delete your iPhone 6s browser history and Google search history in Safari.
