Intex Announces Aqua 3G pro Q Handset @ Rs 2,999

Indigenous smartphone maker Intex has launched Intexanother entry-level Android smartphone. Retailing at a price of Rs 2,999, the Intex Aqua 3G Pro Q boasts a 4-inch WVGA display and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The smartphone is a successor to the company’s Aqua 3G Pro which was launched last year at a price tag of Rs 3,666.

The dual-sim smartphone is powered by a 1.2Ghz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731C chipset, and has 512MB RAM. The Aqua 3G Pro Q has 4GB of inbuilt storage, and is expandable upto 32GB via a microSD card slot. It packs a 2MP rear camera with LED flash, and a 0.3MP front-facing shooter.

The all-new Intex phone is backed by a 1300mAh battery that provides 5.5 hours of usage, and 200 hours of standby time. It comes preloaded with various apps like Matrabhasha, 360 security, Newshunt, Hike and Opera Mini.

In the connectivity department, the handset supports GPRS/EDGE, 3G, A-GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and micro-USB.
Intex Aqua 3G Pro Q comes in Champagne, Grey and White colour variants.

Earlier this month, the company launched Aqua Classic priced at Rs 4,444. The smartphone boasts of a 5-inch display and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is powered by a 1.2Ghz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and packs a 2100mAh li-on battery.
