Ingram Micro Expands Cloud Marketplace To India

Ingram Micro Inc made an announcement today regarding the availability of Ingram Micro Cloud Ingram MicroMarketplace in India. With its presence in five countries all across the Asia Pacific region and 17 countries worldwide, the Cloud Marketplace is gaining a lot of momentum in India. There are almost 200 channel partners who are a part of this and are ready to transact on the automated platform.

The Cloud Marketplace features Microsoft Office 365 via the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program. It powers the channel partners to instantly grow their cloud business by putting together their own cloud services and consolidating invoicing. The channel partners are also seamlessly converting Microsoft Advisor subscriptions to the CSP program on the Cloud Marketplace. The plan assists the instant adoption of Microsoft CSP and allows channel partners to take ownership of the entire customer subscription lifecycle as well as recognising  to pline revenue.

As per IDC, the demand for cloud services in India is growing rapidly. Presently, public cloud services are valued at US$440 M with an expected growth to US$1128 M by 2019. It has a an annual growth rate (CAGR) of 26.6%.
