Infosys has extended its collaboration with Google Cloud and will provide training on GenAI to 20,000 employees

Infosys is broadening its collaboration with Google Cloud to enable enterprises to harness generative AI solutions. This initiative will involve the establishment of global Generative AI Labs, focused on industry-specific AI solutions and platforms. The aim is to integrate generative AI into business processes. Additionally, Infosys plans to provide training to 20,000 practitioners in Google Cloud’s gen AI solutions, including Vertex AI and Duet AI in Google Workspace. This training will ensure that organizations have the professional expertise and resources needed to develop and manage generative AI projects effectively.

The partnership builds on Infosys’ existing expertise in data, analytics, and AI on Google Cloud. It encompasses a range of AI platforms and solutions for diverse business scenarios, such as consumer AI, autonomous supply chain, marketing automation, anti-money laundering, and customer service transformation. Many of Infosys’ existing platforms and solutions will be enhanced with generative AI capabilities from Google Cloud, including the Infosys Live Enterprise Application Management Platform, Infosys Applied AI Platform, Infosys Customer Intelligence Platform, Infosys Data Streams, and Infosys Supply Chain AI Platform.

Salil Parekh, CEO of Infosys, emphasized their ongoing investments in AI and the role of generative AI in delivering transformative business solutions and enhancing productivity. Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud, stated that generative AI is transforming business operations across various domains and will enable mutual customers to create real-world value.

Infosys is known for its history of helping customers leverage Google Cloud’s data analytics and AI capabilities, and this partnership aims to strengthen their collaboration in AI development and business transformation.
