InFocus Turbo 5 Plus and Snap 4 to launch in India on September 13

InFocus the handset arm of Taiwan’s Foxconn, is all set to launch a new handset for the Indian smartphone market. The company is going to unveil the successor of its recently launched smartphone Turbo 5 and is going to call it the InFocus Turbo 5 Plus. Along with this, the company is also going to launch another handset called the InFocus Snap 4
The company has sent out media invites for the launch of the handset on September 13.
InFocus has also tweeted about the upcoming launch saying, “Get ready for the launch of powerful #InFocusTurbo5Plus & sleek #InFocusSnap4 on 13th September, New Delhi! #ItsAllAboutPower #CaptureItAll”
The company has teased a few things about the upcoming InFocus 5 Plus such as that it will sport a dual rear camera and will be backed by a 4850mAh battery. It will also house the fingerprint sensor in the home button.
Recently, InFocus launched the Turbo 5 handset in India in two variants — 2GB RAM/16GB storage (Rs 6,999) and 3GB RAM/32GB storage (Rs 7,999).
The key highlight of the InFocus Turbo 5 is its massive 5000mAh battery, which the company claims will give you 23 hours of video-calling and 34 days of standby time. The smartphone is also be able to charge other devices through the OTG support.
The Turbo 5 boasts of a 5.2-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display with a pane of 2.5D curved glass and it runs on Google’s latest Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, topped with its own InLife 2.1 UI.
The smartphone is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor (clocked at 1.25GHz) coupled with Mali T720 MP1 GPU. It supports a hybrid dual-SIM slot (nano+nano/microSD card), FM radio, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS on the connectivity front. In terms of camera, the device sports a 13MP rear camera with autofocus and LED Flash and a 5MP front shooter.
