InFocus has expanded its Android smartphone portfolio in India

InFocus has expanded its Android smartphone portfolio in India with the launch of InFocus M370, M550 3D, M808, and M812.

The InFocus M370 (see above) will be available at Rs. 5,999, the InFocus M550-3D at Rs. 15,999, the InFocus M808 at Rs. 12,999, and InFocus M812 at Rs. 19,999. All the four smartphones will be available to buy in India in September.

The InFocus M370 and M812 run Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box while the InFocus M808 comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop. The InFocus M550-3D smartphone runs the now-dated Android 4.4 KitKat. The company in a press statement has claimed that all its new InFocus smartphones support 4G LTE in India apart from 2G and 3G.

The M370 smartphone is backed by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909) processor clocked at 1.1GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM. The dual-SIM based handset comes with 8GB of built-in storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 64GB). It features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display and sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash while there is a 2-megapixel front camera also on board. The smartphone is backed by a 2230mAh removable battery. It measures 143×71.5×8.1mm and weighs 125 grams.

The InFocus M550-3D (see above) is being touted as the company’s first 3D smartphone in India. It features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) autostereoscopic (glasses-free 3D) display. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor clocked at 1.7GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM. It features 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 64GB). There is a 13-megapixel rear BSI autofocus rear camera with LED flash. The smartphone comes with a 5-megapixel fixed-focus front camera and also sports a 5-megapixel fixed-focus with IR face detection and IR LED. The handset comes with a 3100mAh removable battery. It measures 159.9×78.5×9.63 mm and weighs 194 grams.

The InFocus M808 (see below) smartphone features a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display and is powered by MediaTek’s 64-bit octa-core MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage and supports expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card. On the camera front, the M808 smartphone sports a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It is backed by a 2450mAh non-removable battery. The handset measures 147.7×73.2×7.56mm and weighs 155 grams.

The InFocus M812 is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974AC) processor clocked at 2.5GHz coupled with 3GB of RAM. There is 16GB internal storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 64GB). It features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. The smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with true-tone flash. There is an 8-megapixel 80-degree wide-angle fixed-focus front camera also on board. It comes with a 2900mAh non-removable battery and measures 120 grams.
