Infinix Note 4 and Zero 5 get price cut in India

Infinix, the online smartphone brand from Transsion, has slashed the price of two of its smartphones. The Infinix Note 4 and the Infinix Zero 5 have received a price drop.

The Infinix Note 4 which was launched at Rs 8,999 is now selling at Rs 7,999 after the price cut of Rs 1,000. On the other hand, the Infinix Zero 5 which came with a price tag of Rs 17,999 has got a price drop of Rs 2,000 and is now available at Rs 15,999. Along with this, customers can also avail additional 10% discount if they purchase the smartphones using HDFC Bank credit or debit cards.

Along with the price drop, the company has also announced an OTA update for the Infinix Note 4. The OTA update will bring Android 8.0 Oreo operating system to the smartphone. The company had recently started with the beta phase of the Android Oreo update and now will be implementing the final update wef March 10, 2018 for its existing and new users.
In an official statement, the company said, Infinix smartphones have received incredible response from customers on Flipkart, and this special offering is set to delight customers furthermore with the optimum combination of features at the most affordable prices.”

For those unaware, the Infinix Note 4 was launched in India in August last year along with the Snap 4 smartphone.

The Infinix Note 4 features a 5.7-inch full HD display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution. The screen is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass on top. The smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and is powered by octa-core MediaTek processor.

The handset offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB by adding a microSD card. The device sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front shooter with soft flash for selfies. The device is backed by a 4,300 mAh battery with XCharge 3A charging technology.
