Indian Insurers To Increase IT Budgets By 10% In 2016

The firms are expected to spend Rs. 14,080 crore on IT products and services which is 9.6 per cent jump as compared to 2015.

This forecast includes spending by insurers on internal IT (including personnel), hardware, software, external IT services, and telecommunications.

According to Gartner Indian insurers are prioritising their technology investments for 2016 in digitalisation, and particularly analytics capabilities.
