India strengthened its global digital presence as Jyotiraditya Scindia inaugurated the Bharat Pavilion at the Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona. The initiative highlights India’s ambition to position itself as a reliable and influential leader in the global digital and telecom ecosystem.

Speaking during the inauguration, Scindia emphasised that India is emerging as a key player in shaping the future of connectivity. He noted that the country is building advanced digital networks not only for its own population but also contributing to global digital infrastructure through trusted technologies and partnerships.

India’s Growing Telecom Innovation Ecosystem

The Bharat Pavilion at the global technology event showcases the capabilities of more than 40 Indian telecom innovators. These companies represent a wide range of technologies, including 4G and 5G networks, emerging 6G research, Open RAN architecture, satellite communications, semiconductor design, and AI-driven network intelligence.

In addition to telecom hardware and infrastructure solutions, the pavilion also highlights innovations in cybersecurity, telecom software, and digital platforms. The strong participation of Indian companies reflects the country’s expanding innovation ecosystem and its growing confidence in indigenous research and development.

Vision for Trusted Global Connectivity

Scindia stressed that India’s telecom transformation has been supported by initiatives such as domestic R&D development, trusted telecom frameworks, production-linked incentives (PLI), and deeper integration with global technology supply chains. These efforts have helped India strengthen both manufacturing capabilities and digital infrastructure.

He also highlighted the philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, noting that India’s approach to connectivity is rooted in building inclusive digital bridges that benefit the global community while supporting economic growth and collaboration.

Strengthening Global Partnerships

India’s participation at Mobile World Congress 2026 is aimed at expanding international collaboration in telecommunications and digital innovation. During the event, the minister interacted with global industry leaders and explored opportunities to strengthen partnerships in areas such as advanced networks, secure infrastructure, and next-generation connectivity solutions.

As one of the world’s largest gatherings for the telecom industry, the event provides a significant platform for India to demonstrate its technological capabilities and reinforce its role in shaping secure, inclusive, and future-ready digital networks worldwide.
