IFA 2014: Sony Launches Xperia E3, Xperia Z3

It Voice News: The new Xperia mobiles come on the board finally from Sony at the much-awaited IFA 2014.

At the pre-IFA event in Berlin today, Sony has launched its highly projected sequel to Xperia E1, and it’s named Xperia E3. The company has not announced details about its price tag, but they have said the device will hit global markets by this Autumn. Sony has also launched its latest flagship phone in the Xperia Z series, called Xperia Z3. It was launched at the sidelines of the Berlin event.

Sony Xperia E3

Sony Xperia E3 features 11.43-cm (4.5-inch) IPS display with a 480×854 pixel resolution, 5MP rear camera, Sony’s own photo and video editing apps. The feature list also includes HDR, Timeshift burst, front-facing VGA camera, 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB RAM and 4GB in-built storage expandable up to 32GB. Its connectivity options include 4G LTE (in some markets), 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi, A-GPS with Glonass, USB 2.0, and a 3.5mm jack.

Sony Xperia Z3

On the other hand, Sony Xperia Z3 has a 13.21-cm (5.2-inch) full HD (1080×1920 pixels) TRILUMINOS display, 20.7MP rear camera with 4K ultra-HD video recording, 2.2MP front camera, 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and 3GB RAM. This device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box and it also includes 16GB in-built storage expandable up to 128GB. Its connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G, Glonass, Micro-USB and NFC.
