iball Launches Andi 5U Platino

iBall has quietly launched Andi 5U Platino under its Andi series. The Iball Andidevice has been listed on the official website. Though, the pricing details are still under the wraps, it is anticipated that the device would be officially announced within this month in black. The handset is launched after almost one month of unveiling Andi HD6. Priced at 6999, the pocket friendly handset had offered good features at an affordable price.

If we talk about the specifications, iBall Andi 5U Platino sports a 12.7cm (5-inch) QHD IPS display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. Powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, the phone offers 512MB RAM and 8GB ROM which can be further expanded to 32GB via microSD. Backed by a 2000mAh battery, the device claims to support eight regional languages.

The phone runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. It comes with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 0.3MP front facing camera. The connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, A-GPS, Micro-USB and Bluetooth. Additionally, it comes with a proximity sensor, an accelerometer and an ambient light sensor.
