HYSEA (Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association) elects new Executive Committee and Managing Committee for the period 2018-20

HYSEA (Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association) today in its 26th Annual General Body meeting elected a new Executive Committee comprising the following office bearers:

Mr. Murali Bollu – Founder & CEO, ZenQ – takes over as President of HYSEA 

Mr. Bharani K Aroll – CEO Infopeers Solutions Pvt. Ltd – will be the new Vice President

Mr. Ravi S Rao – President, APAC, ValueMomentum Software Services Private Limited, will be the new Secretary

Mr. Vijay Rangineni – Global Delivery Head BSG and Centre Head Tech Mahindra – will be the new Treasurer

Ms. Padmaja Chowdary – VP International Finance C3I Support Services – will be the new Joint Secretary

The new president Mr. Murali Bollu, has more than 30 years of experience in the IT industry including 13 years in the US. He has worked as a consultant at Tandem Computers, Wells Fargo Bank and Kaiser Permanente before returning to India in 2002. Murali is the founder & CEO of ZenQ, a 12-year-old software testing services company, with headquarters in Hyderabad and offices in Dallas. Murali has been active in HYSEA since 2007 in various capacities, as Managing Committee member, head of HYSEA SME Forum, and as Vice President for the terms 2014-16 and 2016-18.  In addition to the SME Forum, Murali has been very actively associated with the Branding, Sponsorship and the Technology/Product forums of HYSEA and takes an active role in coordinating and conducting several key HYSEA events.                          

HYSEA members also unanimously elected a new Managing Committee for the term 2018-2020:

• Bipin Chandra Pendyala, SVP, Moschip Semiconductor Ltd.

• Kiran Babu Cherukuri, Founder and CEO, Tech Era IT Consulting Pvt Ltd

• Manisha Saboo, AVP and Centre Head, Pocharam Campus, Infosys Ltd

• Sai Giridhar Chintamaneni, President and CEO, Promantra Synergy Solutions Ltd

• Gogineni Srinivasa Rao, Managing Director, FutureTech Information Systems Pvt Ltd

Another five members will be co-opted to the Managing Committee by the newly elected Executive Committee.

Speaking on the occasion, the outgoing President Mr. Ranga Pothula said, “It has been an honor to have led HYSEA during the Silver Jubilee year of its foundation. Some of the important initiatives launched to mark this milestone like the Disruptive Digital Intervention (DDI) for the Government Schools, the IOT Makerspaces Labs in Engineering colleges, the HYSEA-IIIT technology series, the environmental initiatives, etc. should be taken to the next level”. He congratulated the newly elected President, Executive and Managing Committee and wished them success in taking HYSEA to greater heights.”

 Mr. Murali Bollu, the newly elected President, thanked the outgoing President and HYSEA members for his election and said, “I have been part of HYSEA’s journey in the last decade in various capacities.  Our focus has primarily been on SMEs, Competency Development of associates from member companies, assisting our member companies fulfill their CSR obligations. Further, we have created a conducive eco-systems for software products, improving Industry-Academia connect and helping the Government with policy formulation.  The newly elected Committee would like to increase efforts to assist IT SMEs accelerate their growth. It will be accomplished through organizing workshops/events on new business opportunities in emerging technologies and new geographies, by exploring funding options to meet their capex and opex needs, and by promoting innovations in sales & marketing of their services & products.  We would also like to expand our competency development programs for employees of the member companies in leadership and technical skills. Further, we plan to start a ‘Biz Series’ aimed at improving business and operational competencies.”

 Mr. Murali also mentioned that HYSEA will be creating a new infrastructure forum to address the strategic needs of the industry focused on transportation, green energy and water management.
