Huawei Unveils Nova, Nova plus Handsets At IFA 2016

Huawei has launched its Nova and Nova Plus smartphones at IFA 2016. Both devices are available in Prestige Gold, Mystic Silver and Titanium Grey colour options and will go on sale in October.

In terms of specifications, the Huawei Nova features a 5-inch Full 53964940HD display of 1080×1920 pixel resolution. The handset runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The smartphone comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be expanded further via microSD cards. Huawei Nova sports a 12MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front camera for selfies. There’s also a fingerprint sensor and a 3,020mAh battery included.

As for the Huawei Nova Plus, it has a 5.5-inch Full HD display of 1080×1920 pixel resolution. Powering the device is a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor paired with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded further by installing microSD cards. The dual-sim smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

Huawei Nova Plus boasts a 16MP primary camera with LED flash and an 8MP secondary camera for selfies. It incorporates a fingerprint sensor and offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as the connectivity options. The smartphone is backed by a 3,340mAh battery.

In related news, HTC unveiled its latest mid-range smartphone – One A9s, at IFA 2016. The smartphone is available in Black, Gold and Silver colour options. However, there’s no word about the device’s price and availability yet.

HTC One A9s boasts a 5-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixel resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Powering the device is an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor paired with 2GB/3GB of RAM. The phone offers 16GB/32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 2TB via microSD cards.
