Huawei announced the winners of the contest ’Ascend to new heights – a gateway trip to Dubai’. Over 30 winners from India, Europe, USA, Africa and Asia were chosen from over 50,000 contest participants across the globe.
The winners get to travel on an ‘all expenses paid’ 3 Nights and 4 Days trip to Dubai where they will be staying at the Atlantis Hotel, a Five Star luxury hotel; additional features to this exciting trip include an aerial sight tour of the city via helicopter, a visit to the world’s tallest building the ‘Khalifa Tower’, the ‘Burj Al Arab’ amongst other places as part of the sightseeing tour such as the Jumeira Mosque and walk down the narrow lanes of Bastakia as well.
No city in the world is complete without its culinary delights and lifestyle entertainment. Winners of the contest get to taste some exotic Arabian cuisine, sample various flavored sheeshas and in the course of their travel alongside enjoy entertainment programmes designed for them such as camel rides, henna tattoo sessions, sand boarding across the dunes and even get to witness the famous belly dancing, a signature dance form of the middle east.
This marketing campaign contest was running for a period of one month starting from 15th December, 2012 to 15th January, 2013. The contest was open for all audiences irrespective whether one purchased a Huawei product or not. Through this contest, Huawei also gave away exciting prizes like Dubai & Singapore trips, Huawei smartphones, dongles and online shopping vouchers.
