It seems that Chinese smartphone maker Huawei is working on a new smartphone. A device named Huawei RNE-AL00 has received TENAA certification.
As per the listing, the smartphone will sport a 5.99-inch full HD+ display with 2610×1080 pixel resolution. This means that this is the first smartphone from Huawei to sport a full screen display with minimal bezels and 18:9 aspect ratio.
The listing further suggests that the smartphone will be powered by company’s own octa-core Kirin 659 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. It will offer 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB by adding a microSD card. The device will run Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and will offer dual SIM functionality.
The smartphone will sport a dual rear camera setup with one 16MP and other 2MP modules. The smartphone will also have a dual selfie camera with one 13MP and other 2MP sensors. Measuring 156.2 x 75.2 x 7.5mm, the smartphone will come equipped with a fingerprint sensor and will be backed by a 3249mAH battery.
The device is said to offer dual SIM functionality and is claimed to sport a dual rear camera setup. The device will have a one 20MP monochrome sensor and other 12MP RGB sensor with Leica lenses and dual tone LED flash. There is also an 8MP front camera for selfies. The smartphone is expected to be backed by a 4000mAh battery and will offer 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC as connectivity options.
Recently, Huawei sub-brand Honor launched its budget smartphone V9 Play in China. The device sports a 5.2-inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass atop. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1 layered on top and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor and Mali T860 GPU. Weighing only about 145g, the device packs a 3000mAh battery.
The Honor V9 Play is powered by 3GB/4GB RAM with 32GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. On the camera front, the device flaunts a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture; videos can be recorded at 1080p and a 5MP front facing camera with f/2.2 aperture. As for connectivity, it supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE and GPS / GLONASS.
