The new smartphone has been introduced as the latest smartphone offering from Huawei. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC and houses a battery life of 4,000mAh. It is a little watered-down model of the above-mentioned smartphone that was presented in 2020 April. Other than that, there is little else that is unlike amidst the 2 smartphones. Other smartphones in this series contain Nova 7 5G and 5G Pro, both of which are moderately premium models.
The Nova 7 SE 5G Youth is priced at approx. Chinese Yen 2.3k for the storage model 8GB + 128GB. It is provided in 4 color options. Also, the smartphone is already on sale in China via Vmall online store.

It runs on EMUI 10.1 which is based on Android 10. The smartphone features a full-HD+ with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels, an LTPS LCD of 6.5-inch with NTSC color saturation of 96%. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U octa-core SoC, and it is paired with a RAM of 8GB and onboard storage of 128GB.
The quad rear camera setup contains a main camera of 64mp, an ultra-wide camera of 8mp, a macro camera of 2mp, and a depth camera of 2mp. At the front, the smartphone has a selfie snapper of 16mp. The selfie camera is placed inside the hole-punch cut-out.
It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an audio jack of 3.5mm. There are connectivity options involve a 5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, and a USB Type-C port. Further, it measures 162.31 x 75.0 x 8.58mm and weighs around 189 grams.
