The smartphone has a dual-camera setup, comprises a 20MP monochrome module and a 12MP colour module. In addition, optical image stabilization (OIS), a 4-in-1 hybrid autofocus system (having laser, phase detection, depth and contrast detection) is included in the mix. There’s also dual-tone dual LED flash. Huawei claims that the rear cameras support Hybrid Zoom feature, enabling users to zoom without sacrificing quality. The smartphone can also recording 4K resolution video. An 8MP front-facing camera takes care of selfies and video calling tasks. For connectivity, Huawei Mate 9 offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It packs a 4,000mAh battery with fast charging support. Recently, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor sent out media invites for the launch of its Honor 6X smartphone in India. The company will launch the device on January 24 in the country. Honor 6X features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution display with 2.5D curved glass. Like the Honor 8, the Honor 6X’s dual-rear camera setup comes with 6P Lens and Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) tech. While the first camera has a 12MP sensor, the secondary rear camera has a 2MP one. At the front, the smartphone features an 8MP camera for taking selfies and video chat.
